But what about the things that make these supply chains possible in the first place \u2013 pallets, containers and racks?<\/p>\n<p>The Dortmund start-up, previously known as <strong>Logistics centre<\/strong>, digitalises load carrier management and makes it visible where they are, how they are being used and where reconciliations between partners are necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The new name is more than just a rebranding. <strong>\u201eLoop\u201c<\/strong> stands for the circuit in which charge carriers travel. <strong>\u201ePario\u201c<\/strong> describes the automated merging and reconciliation of exchange processes between companies. The name therefore encapsulates the core objective: keeping load carriers in circulation, creating transparency and simplifying processes across company and national borders.<\/p>\n<p>Because load carriers do not stop at borders and software that is used internationally also needs a brand that works internationally. Today, the solution is already in <strong>10 languages<\/strong> available, in <strong>66 countries<\/strong> in operation and manages around a monthly <strong>50 million load carriers worldwide<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Loopario is based with us in <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tzdo.de\/en\/\">TechnologieZentrumDortmund<\/a><\/strong> and demonstrates by way of example how an international growth story can emerge from research, entrepreneurial spirit and regional advantages. The company started out from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iml.fraunhofer.de\/\">Fraunhofer IML<\/a> and was founded by the founding team <strong>Philipp H\u00fcning, Michael Koscharnyj, Patrik Elfert and Jan M\u00f6ller<\/strong> was founded. Today, the team comprises 32 staff members.<\/p>\n<p>It is no coincidence that such a success story has emerged from Dortmund. With key players such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iml.fraunhofer.de\/\">Fraunhofer IML<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isst.fraunhofer.de\/\">Fraunhofer ISST<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tu-dortmund.de\/\">TU Dortmund<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fh-dortmund.de\/\">University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/lamarr-institute.org\/de\/\">Lamarr Institute<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalhublogistics.com\/\">Digital Hub Logistics<\/a> Dortmund offers a strong ecosystem for smart logistics, AI and digital business models.<\/p>\n<p>That is precisely the point of interface where we <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tzdo.de\/en\/\"><strong>TZDO<\/strong> <\/a>even with the new one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tzdo.de\/en\/zentrum-fuer-logistik-und-it-dortmund\/\"><strong>Centre for Logistics and IT Dortmund (ZLI)<\/strong><\/a> as a location for start-ups, scale-ups and established technology companies from logistics, IT, supply chain management, AI and intelligent material flow systems. Companies such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loopario.com\/\">Loopario<\/a> demonstrate how much potential arises when research, infrastructure, network and entrepreneurial implementation come together at the location.<\/p>\n<p>To make this potential even more visible internationally, the transfer project was launched in June <strong>FITS3<\/strong> launched. The aim of the funded project is to bring together start-ups, SMEs, research and international innovation networks from the logistics sector in a targeted manner.
