On 9 December 2025, the BioIndustry e.V. to the anniversary event in the Bayer Supply Centre Bergkamen and thus returned to the place where it all began a quarter of a century ago.

As a regional network engine connects BioIndustry e.V. companies, research institutions, start-ups and players from politics and business for 25 years.

The day was led by Dr Cathrin Dierkes (Managing Director) and Dr Oliver Bonkamp (Chairman of the Executive Board), who not only honoured the milestones of the association in a lively review, but also paid tribute to long-standing companions who have helped shape the development of the network from the very beginning.

With a forward-looking impulse, the Dr Ricarda Finnern from the Bioeconomy Council NRW the programme: Her presentation on the strategic direction of the state's bioeconomy impressively demonstrated the key role that sustainable innovations will play for the economy and society in the future.

An exclusive look behind the scenes was then offered by the guided tour of the Bayer Supply Centre, before the event turned into an open, in-depth networking session.

Our colleague was also there Dr Joanna Stachnik, Head of the Biomedizin Zentrum Dortmund, that the Dortmund Technology Centre as an active board member of the network.
