In January 2001, the e-port Dortmund, Mallinckrodtstraße 320, begins its work as a competence centre for e-logistics.

Under its umbrella, the establishment of companies from the logistics sector and the creation of new, future-orientated jobs in the logistics environment are to be promoted.

Today, e-port Dortmund is the competence centre of the TechnologieZentrumDortmund for logistics and IT in the digital port of Dortmund. A total of around 30 companies with over 100 employees are based here.
