"Which financier suits me and when?" At the 3rd Wednesday on 21 May 2025 at the Centre for Production Technology Dortmund (ZfP), Simone Plum, authorised signatory of the NRW.BANK, gave a keynote speech on important financing and funding expertise for companies of all sizes.

In addition, temicon GmbH from the MST Factory Dortmund and brand innovator Sabrina Nestola from the Gründerinnenzentrum Dortmund presented themselves at the TechnologieZentrumDortmund (TZDO) networking event for founders, start-ups and companies.

Which financier suits me and when?

Start-up or business founder? Which financier is right for me and when? Simone Plum not only answered these questions at the 3rd Wednesday, but also presented suitable financing partners for SMEs. She also addressed the topic of "Opportunities and optimisation through funding".

As a development consultant at NRW.BANK's Business Development Advisory Centre, she is very familiar with the financing needs of founders, start-ups and SMEs. She has also been working for the NRW.BANK financing support advisory service for many years.

temicon from the MST Factory Dortmund presented

Jan Hendrik Knizia, CEO of temicon, introduced the interested participants at the NDT to the temicon GmbH from the MST Factory Dortmund (MST). As competence centres of TechnologieZentrumDortmund, NDT and MST are both located in close proximity to each other in the PHOENIX West technology park.

In addition, Ralf Schuster, Sales Manager MotionMiners GmbHThe exhibitor presented the innovative company MotionMiners from the TZDO to visitors. In personal discussions, he explained the motion mining technology that helps companies to optimise processes in production, trade and logistics and improve the working environment for employees.

Other exhibitors included Ann-Kathrin Fechner and Victoria Tischenko from byNIRO GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Network Industry RuhrEast (NIRO). byNIRO supports companies in making savings through the NIRO purchasing pool and through the NIRO Academy with practical training programmes.
