Over 140 guests from science, politics, biotechnology and the pharmaceutical industry attended the opening ceremony at the BMZ.
The LDC was founded in Dortmund in February 2008 by Max Planck Innovation, the technology transfer organisation of the Max Planck Society.
Around 130 drug discovery projects has LDC since the foundation launched. LDC a Paving the way for innovative medicines for diseases with a high medical need.
As a translational drug discovery company, LDC takes promising innovative research projects and, together with over 100 academic partners, transforms them into medically and commercially attractive drug candidates.
For numerous of the successfully completed projects have already signed partnership or licence agreements with industry.
At the LDC, around 120 experienced experts ensure the professional progress of the projects in compliance with the highest industry standards.
