On 11 November 2010, Albonair GmbH officially opened its new company headquarters on the PHOENIX West site.

The four-storey office building with adjoining production hall is located in the immediate vicinity of the Dortmund Centre for Production Technology, which had only started operations two years previously.

Albonair started out with just two employees at the Dortmund Technology Centre on the Dortmund Science and Technology Campus. Today, the exhaust gas purification specialist employs around 140 people.

Albonair develops and produces urea dosing systems and thermal management systems. The focus is on the commercial vehicle industry.

The company offers vehicle and engine manufacturers in the on-road and off-road sectors innovative solutions for compliance with statutory emission standards.
