To mark the 40th anniversary of the TechnologieZentrumDortmund (TZDO), we are working with the University of Münster to analyse the regional economic effects of the TZDO on the region. We have reached a milestone in our location study and have now successfully completed the data collection. The analysis is now underway.

Over the past few weeks, we have contacted more than 400 companies in the Dortmund Technology Park and at PHOENIX West - and the response was strong: over 100 companies took part in our study, around one in four. We would like to thank all participating companies - their commitment makes all the difference.

The data obtained with a very high response rate of over 25 per cent forms a valuable basis for visualising the economic importance of Dortmund's innovation locations, identifying new potential for the further development of the range of services at the locations and documenting the contribution of the TZDO to Dortmund as a business and technology location.
