Mental health as the key to sustainable corporate success
On Wednesday, 19 November 2025, was the Biomedicine Centre Dortmund (BMZ) Meeting point for around 50 guests who 110. 3rd Wednesday of the TechnologyCentreDortmund (TZDO) inspiring impulses on one of the most important topics in today's working world: mental health in the workplace.
Right at the beginning, TZDO Managing Director Dirk Stürmer the TZDO and the pioneering Centre for Integrated Drug Research (ZIW) a place where modern science meets visionary founding.
Christine Kern from the Techniker Krankenkasse opened the evening with an interactive keynote speech that led the participants directly into the world of stress competence and self-awareness through breathing exercises.
Other strong contributions followed:
- Anne-Kathrin Klebl (Lead Discovery Centre GmbH) - about healthy impulses in the day-to-day work of a research-based company.
- Judith Wälde (Next Chapter Consulting) - on confident leadership in difficult times and the courage to adopt a healthy structure in crisis situations.
After the presentations, participants were able to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere at an after-work networking event with tasty snacks and drinks - new ideas, real conversations, strong connections.
