OUT OF THE BOX.NRW: The most innovative start-ups

OUT OF THE BOX.NRW stands for the most innovative start-ups from North Rhine-Westphalia. The application phase for 2025 has already been completed. Community voting is currently underway for the TOP10 startups that will pitch live for victory at the Hinterland of Things conference in Bielefeld on 5 June 2025.

Valoon: The first chat for construction projects

Valoon was founded in 2023 as a Fraunhofer and KIT spin-off and has been revolutionising project coordination in the construction industry, trade and property management ever since.

Valoon is the first chat for construction projects - simple, secure and directly in WhatsApp. Valoon brings all project participants together in a central, construction-specific chat. The aim is to digitalise communication on the construction site, make information available more quickly and make collaboration more efficient. Find out more about Valoon.

Valoon is a fellow of the innoclub based at the Dortmund Technology Centre. The innoclub supports start-ups with a strong network and customised services.
