The TZDO includes eight competence centers at four locations in Dortmund: the Technology Center Dortmund, the Biomedicine Center Dortmund, the Center for Production Technology Dortmund, the MST Factory Dortmund, the e-port Dortmund, and the B1st Software Factory Dortmund. The competence centers are being expanded by the new Center for Logistics and IT as well as a center for integrated drug research.
