What is honoured?

The Innovation Award honours ideas that:

are patented or are in the process of being patented,
have a clear application reference,
have a strong market potential and
can make a relevant contribution to the economy and society.

Who can apply?

Scientists from universities and non-university research institutions
Legal entities under public law (e.g. universities, universities of applied sciences, patent exploitation agencies)
Founders of young companies that have not yet achieved any relevant turnover and have not sold any significant shares in the company to external investors
