On October 29th we were allowed to attend the Centre for Production Technology Dortmund (ZfP) a delegation from our Polish region Metropolia GZM Welcome.
With Leszek Pietraszek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metropolia GZM, and Jacek Woźnikowski, The head of the Department of Socio-Economic Development and Cooperation discussed topics that concern both the Ruhr region and the Polish metropolitan region: land revitalization and structural change. The delegation was accompanied by Christoph Sebald from the Regional Association Ruhr.
PHOENIX West provided the perfect framework for this: Where steel used to be produced, today technology companies and new jobs are at home. As a former site pioneer, this company is supporting the development of the area. TZDO This change has been taking place for many years, with a focus on specialized technology centers, infrastructure, and networks for start-ups, SMEs, and growth companies.
The project too FITS3 builds on this idea. Together with the Ruhr Business Metropolis And we want to make the competencies of the Ruhr region more visible internationally and to encourage new collaborations between companies, research and international innovation networks.
Auf weiteren Stationen in Essen, auf MARK 51°7 in Bochum und auf dem Hoesch-Gelände in Schwerte lernte die Gruppe weitere Beispiele für gelungene Flächenentwicklung kennen und tauschte sich mit zahlreichen Netzwerkpartnern aus dem Ruhrgebiet aus – u.a. mit Vertretern aus dem Regional Association Ruhr, the Ruhr Business Metropolis the Bochumer Wirtschaftsentwicklung and the Stadt Schwerte.
Many thanks to the delegation and the Regional Association Ruhr for open exchange. The visit to Non-destructive testing It was one of several stations in the Ruhr area and hopefully the starting point for further joint projects.
