Yesterday, the 14th of April, we were allowed in the TechnologyCentreDortmund (TZDO) welcoming international logistics start-ups to the technology park: as part of DOaccelerate – to the Go-to-Market programme Dortmund Economic Development Agency, teams from all over Europe were in Dortmund to get to know the local intralogistics ecosystem and to sound out initial market and cooperation opportunities.

When visiting the TZDO It was primarily about the question: Why is Dortmund such a strong location for intralogistics? The answers lie in the combination of research, industry, testing environments and an active start-up community.

With Diego Atienza, participants gained a concrete impression of what makes Dortmund a promising location: he presented the TZDO as well as the resulting ZLI (Centre for Logistics and IT) and showed which rooms, networks and support services are available here for international scale-ups.

Also present were: ACI (LT), Dommify (PT), Hungry (CZ), Infinite Foundry (PT), Romb Technologies (HR) and SQB Robotics (RO).

Thanks to the Dortmund Economic Development Agency and the Digital Hub Logistics Dortmund for the organisation and all teams for the visit. Days like these make visible how well connected Dortmund is and how attractive the location remains for logistics innovation and start-ups.
